ROOTS
ROOTS (Resource Outreach of the Society) is a volunteer, civic, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens and their activities. Our goal is to provide creative assistance and leadership to selected fund-raising events sponsored by the WCBG, along with promoting garden-related events and educational opportunities. Our Bloomin' Deals event was our debut function in 2009 and we plan on staying busy in 2010 with Bloomin' Deals and the 19th Annual Garden Tour.
Meetings are scheduled for 5:00 p.m. every second Tuesday of the month in the Pomrenke Children's Library at the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens. Membership is not necessary to become active in our group.
For more information about the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens and the ROOTS committee, contact Shirley at
