Donations
Western Colorado Botanical Gardens (WCBG) is a non-profit organization that relies on the generous support of our members, friends and donors. Without both monetary and in-kind donations the WCBG would not be able to operate.
Donations may be made to the gardens for a specific garden or project or as a tribute or memorial to loved ones. Donations may also be made to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays or other special events.
Plant Donations
The WCBG Board asks that all donations be made to help maintain the gardens we currently have. Because of the uncertain nature of maintaining living gifts such as plants and trees, the WCBG is unable to accept these types of gifts. Donations may be made specifically to our plant fund. Contributors to this fund will be publicly recognized for one year on a plaque displayed at the WCBG.
Annual Fund
Your gift to the Annual Fund helps maintain our beautiful gardens and complete our goal of excellence in educational programs, community outreach, and conservation.
Memorial Plaques and Tiles
You may also give a monetary gift in honor or memory of a family member, friend or colleague. The Gardens will send an acknowledgement to the individual or family you designate and list a tribute in our quarterly newsletter.
You may also wish to remember a loved one by purchasing a memorial plaque or tile, which will be displayed on the fences of the Garden and on the wall around the Children's Castle. Costs vary. Please contact our office at 970-245-3288 for more information.
